A Lazy Day at Beausoleil Island, Ontario – June 28, 2014

There has been a steady stream of boats coming in to anchor, or to the dock to unload camping equipment. There are kids and adults in the water everywhere. —even as cold as it is. It’s been a cold, harsh winter here in Canada and the Canadians are clearly celebrating this weekend. It’s been fun watching the kids splashing in the water. I have no doubt that if our grandsons were here they’d be in the cold water, too.

This has been a nice lazy day for us — no agenda, no place to be. We accomplished a couple of usual chores, chart plotting our next few days and engine checks. Then a nice nap followed by sitting on the bridge people watching.

No empty docks and lots of boats at anchor

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beausoleil Island and we’ve met so many wonderful people during our visit.
